The Ball that Never Was - Emma Swan

A perfectly captured moment in my first OUAT gown recreation! I wore this to FantasyCon in Salt Lake City. It really made me feel like a princess! This gown is from season 3 episode 14 "The Tower". This is from Emma's dad's dream where they dance in her room in the enchanted forest.
When I first saw the episode, I stopped it, went back to the begining of the scene, and played it again so I could get a better look at this dress. It was so pretty! And I was pretty sure I had just the right fabric for it! It was a bolt I had been saving for nearly two years for just the right project. The dress took the entire bolt. (It was a small bolt, about 20yrds) Half of the flower applique I painted a sparkle silver because I felt it was too white. I also added many crystals on to it as well. You can't see all the sparkle in this gown in pictures but the tulle overlay is all sparkle tulle that, when I was making it, would shed glitter everywhere!
