Happy greetings to you in this new year!
As we reflect on the last year's accomplishments and look to goals of the coming year, I thought I would share one I had made months ago and wanted to bring to life during 2016.
If you really dig through my gallery here or DA you'll find some armature photography work. I have always enjoyed the art.

In October 2014 I got my first DSLR. I decided to spend the year exploring the world of digital photography and how to improve in it. As most of you can tell, my other major hobby is costuming. I love bringing a design to life!

So I've decided to combine the two in a way. It's sometimes hard and/or scary to try to explain cosplay to someone who isn't into it. And it can be even harder to convey what you are looking for to another artist such as a photographer. I don't only like making cosplay myself but also seeing what others can do so Cosplay Photography seems like a great path to follow. I have already dabbled in the work here: www.facebook.com/silverfyrepho…

Over this next year you will see me submit some of my work on here. I  will mention in the comments if I was the photographer or cosplayer but I do hope it doesn't get mixed up too much. XD
Though, I could still use help at this!
  • What do you look for in a photographer for cosplay?
  • What do you like to see?
  • What don't you like?
  • Any suggestions?
